Im not sure how we can do this and tally it, but just for fun lets see who is for and who is against Jags coming to town. Is there a website that someone smarter than me can arrange a poll like this? |

Rivers Casino would very much like to see Jags come to town. Even if for just a few months.
Could we make him growing out a mullet a condition for the trade? |
How could the pens possibly outbid others who would be able to give up a conditional 1st for Jagr? Harrington? is it worth it? DP would have to be considered untouchable right? |

We cant pay all of the young D-men prospects we have in the system, and keep Despres and Maatta; its just impossible. Scuds contract doesn't help either. - nbartley9
Why not? Maybe if (big if) they all pan out and need big raises, then we deal with it then. Maybe a couple of them just become decent NHL'ers and won't demand a ton of cash...
What I do know, is that we won't be stuck with them if they get too good and we can't afford all of them. |

Can't see anyone giving up a 1st for Jagr. The Bruins gave up a 2 lower prospects and a conditional 1st 2 years ago for a 2 years younger Jagr. I think a 2nd and a middle tier prospect gets it done. |

when is Google Wave coming back? |
A D prospect and pick doesn't clear any cap space. A roster player would need to go. Probably not going to happen. |

If I were any team in the league, I'd stay away from Jagr. The only reason he's playing very well in NJ is the entire team plays a very slow game. That's one of the reasons he played so poorly in Boston and in the playoffs:
1. He ran out of gas
2. The playoffs themselves are too quick
I hope Lou plays a GM and gets a 2nd or a 3rd, but you shouldn't be excited about getting him. |
