Watching Leafs Lunch a couple weeks ago, they compared Nonis to JFJ. I thought that was crazy at first, but looking back, ferguson had better leaf teams than the mess they have right now. Nonis has to go - TylerSeguin19
Is that really all on Nonis? |

The bruins won't win anything. Chara is too old. The team isn't as good as it used to be. - Santo_44
Chara's minutes are down with the emergence of krug and dougie. We are finally statrting to play some good hockey. Unless we face the habs in the 1st round, were goin deep in the playoffs

with some of the players he's brought in and some of the contracts he's doled out, i think a lot of the blame should fall on to him. He's done nothing to make this team better. If anything, he's made them worse |

JFJ inherited a 100 point team (averaged 100 pts 2 seasons prior and 1st season after his hire as GM) and turned it into a lottery hopeful in just 3 seasons.
Really not even comparable IMO. Not defending Nonis though... much. |

Dion will go to one of Anaheim, LA, Calgary, or my personal guess San Jose.
I don't mind which team he goes to, as long as he is gone before trade deadline. |

Then we can watch the habs beat the bruins again in the playoffs - Santo_44
I'd enjoy watching that again.... Lucic would blow a gasket |

I would really like the leafs to get RoR
I think going forward having Kadri, RoR as a top 2 is decent. RoR is a much better D center. can handle the tougher mins.
If you have RoR, Kadri, Nylander, Rielly and 2015 1st pick ... thats a good start
and possibly keeping JVR, Gardiner and Bernier
Kessel, Bozak + (Franson/Prospect/later pick) for RoR, 2015 1st, 2016 1st and a cap dump back .. tweak as needed
Trade Dion and Lupul for whatever
good rebuild start
|

Robidas was a baffling signing right from the day he inked the deal. Probably one of the worst of last year. Even worse than Nikitin... - Iggysbff
Robidas has had his share of defensive gaffes, but the guy is a +11 on a team that gives up way more than they score. The leafs also have a much better record with him in the lineup. saying he is one of the worst signings is just foolish |

I'd definitely keep him for the rebuild. Good mentor. Well respected. Only two years after this. He'll expire when we are on the upswing |
