Don't want a rush hire on a new GM, but before the draft is probably wise. ( so as soon as season ends.)

For picks and prospects yes. They should be selling off assets now. They can set the market with a trade of Franson and maybe get a first from an Anaheim or San Jose. A 2nd for Santo as well as Winnik hopefully.
