Now that Dylan Strome looks possible I'm all in. Still can't bring myself to cheer for losses while the game is going on, but now I feel immediately better each time they do lose

question is whether Sparkes Bibeau or Gibson are ready to backup Reimer next season.....or who is UFA this summer....from a bang/$$ point of view it might be wise to trade bernier instead of resign him...even though he is better than reimer...I'm just throwing poop up against the wall and seein what sticks

I'd be open to trading Bernier at this point if we're not gonna be ready to compete for half a decade anyways. Try to get a good goalie in the 2nd round this year.

I don't think they finish that low. I think the highest we can jope for is 6th, and Strome will be gone by then. Hope to heck im wrong on one or both counts.

I think if we traded Bernier and gave Reimer his atodaso moment, he'd run with it.

Also, trade an AHLers or ECHLer for Budaj.

Bernier played great for two periods....and then got toskala'd.

This bodes well for my 2/3 year 4 per deal he signs.

Kadri has all the skills, but is not a winner. (Phaneuf, Kessel, Bozak, Lupul, Franson all fall under the same category). Guys like Komarov, Winnik, Rielly, Polak, Gardiner you want to keep.

I was watching Kessel last night, I have never seen a player take so long to get to the bench on a line change, effectively removing a player from the play for quite a bit, has to stop, that is just laziness that is not being corrected and never will.

The lottery is fixed. The franchise the NHL wants to help will win it. Toronto is guaranteed cash-flow so they don't need help.

My prediction - Arizona wins the lottery this year. The league doesn't want the embarrassment of that franchise moving after all that has gone on. So they will want a franchise player there that can bring in fans and grow the brand. Just watch.
