I don't think you've proven anything with that statement. You had only listed two players who hit a plateau around Kessel's age, but remained relevant for almost another decade.

there was a great article on hockeybuzz (yes! these exist! ) about 2-3 years ago on the peak productions of nhl players.
it was clear that forwards tend to peak around 22-28y, after that production falls.
not to say that all there is to a fw is production, but if you take a pure look at point production, kessel is very likely (based on a big sample of other nhl forwards in the last 10-20y i think it was) NOT going to improve, but only fall in points.

if someone can find the article, that would be great - i don't think the blogger is on here anymore..

Or the little girls. We can do better than Bozak on the 3rd line …get some grit and size at a better price. Hopefully Holland is that guy.
