The other day dreger said they didn't know if they were sellers or not..... If they don't know they are (frank)ed.

Everyone will laugh Nonis out of the league if they don't sell. They seriously need to just start taking whatever they can get. The offers are just going to get worse.

what statistic do they use to measure how much you have deflated your team?

is there another stat that reflects the degree of entitlement that the player feels?

- BorjeFan4Ever

Just look at 24/7 from last year and you get the picture. The difference between the approach of the Wings players, as opposed to the Leafs players, says it all!

Franson to detroit for a 2nd round pick

26th overall makes more sense than 56th, unless we're talking Winnik.

What's the stat on letting in weak goals?

The league record is tied with Bernier and Toskala. Cloutier in third followed by Lalime

It says what everyone in the league knows, that this team is toxic to anyone who plays for it at the moment.

So let's hope the GM shakes up that core. I don't think it will take much to turn it around.

Dude you are old

REAL old, like medieval old.

I was a Viking, now I can't see a 9 from a 0.

Evolution sucks.

I was schooled in Roman numerical s, this new stuff is confusing.

When it comes to goalies, save percentage is by far, the most important stat.

Wins and losses are a team stat, used to evaluate the group as a whole.

- The Shrike

statistically speaking...

1) should the Leafs go back to the goalie who has the great save percentage but was clearly blowing chunks in the Arizona game?
2) statistically speaking - how do you evaluate "momentum drain"?

P L E A S E explain this me ...

and how good were Bernier's possession stats tonight - that must be important too?

There has got to be something psychologically wrong with that dressing room. It's like since the playoff-game-that-must-not-be-named, this team has ZERO confidence in maintaining a winning-record, almost like they expect to blow it. +1 reason to blow up the team: change the whole mentality of the room by changing the entire room.

Or who knows, maybe it's a planned tank. Either way....Strome/Marner/Kylington/Werenski

Strong or weak is a subjective measurement, overall Sv% is a far more accurate means of assessment, once you have a large enough sample of data to eliminate margin of error.

ya... not much.

a new gm
a new coach (no offense to Horachek - but no one is surviving this)
a new captain
a new starting goalie
and about 10 other players.

nah... not much.

It's hardly subjective that a wrister from the other side of centre should be stopped.by any goalie. Anywhere. Anytime.

Dion is gone for sure, before next season starts. That will be the biggest culture shock.

Unfortunately the only downside to this is that it is pretty damn hard to tell exactly who is the problem on the team.

It is obviously deeper than just on the ice. The team itself has to be a total mess off the ice also. Hopefully management has a clue what/who the problems are in that room. You would expect that more sh1t goes on than anyone outside the room ever hears about.

If I watch the next Leafs home game on a 3D TV will it look like the jersey is coming right at me?
