I think trading Phaneuf to Florida would work great for both teams. Except Florida is in our division and becomes a bigger threat. But they have oodles of prospects especially centres that we could use and cap space. Something like Phaneuf for Barkov, 2nd, and lesser prospect, or barkov and kulikov.

Phaneuf - Ekblad sounds solid for Florida
And the tml fans get what they want to an extent

Btw was I the only one cheering for the leafs to lose last night? I just want them to keep losing until management is pushed to do a big trade

This pains me to say it, but Ek probably does finally have some sources. His site makes him a ton of money I imagine----do I think he always posts poop that's real? Hells no, but Dreger is no different. Anywyas, my point is, why would Ek want to be hired by TSN or Sportsnet or Espn when he's got a very successful website and is making money as an entrepeneur. Just saying.

I was cheering for them to lose as well. When the Devels scored late to tie it up I yelled loud enough that the wife from the other room said "the leafs must have scored" which I laughed and said no Jersey scored to tie it up.

I want them to lose for the same reason you just mentioned, to force them to make the right moves and not staying put thinking we are turning it around.

Personally I have no issue with Robidas and his play this season. He is what he is, not his fault Gardiner sucks balls.
