psst....I think Clark is losing his marbles a little.....30 points in 46 games isn't remotely close to 44 in 48.

As an aside....Eller's career high is 30, Kadri got 50 in a bad season Clark, please just stop.

- mykokes

I never said it was compared to kadris year. I said near a ppg. Which in hindsight wasnt exactly true. Point is the short year is an asterisk

Again look what ive said:

Hes a fine 2nd line centre

He needs to earn a contract over $5 million over the last 35 games

His points have been declining for the 3rd year straight (fact)

Hes a 1 dimensional player (no pk, faceoff specialist etc, not a power forward). Hes purely offense. Not uncommon In the NHL

i hope he earns the contract. If he doesnt, id play hardball or explore a deal.

Does it seem like i bashed him anywhere? Kadri lovers pounce all over it.

- clark_griswold

You know he's been one of the best possession players on this team for the last three seasons.

Get rid of him.

Meh..30 pts that year

your point still stands because Lars Eller has never hit 30 points outside of that season. hes a 25 point player who played at a 50-55 point pace.

so LA gets no cap relief for the foreseeable future and forks over a first and a second?
- DoubleDown

If you think of it in terms where they're relocating the 5+ mil to the 2nd line rather than the 4th wouldn't you say that is saving cap space?

Would you guys trade Lupul for M. Richards, L.A.'s 1st and Toronto's 2nd?

Would L.A.?

- BetterCallSaul

LA has our second?

Unfortunately, I don't think we have one for this year . Unless you're suggesting we offer next year's 2nd (or if we get one by trading Santo or one of our other guys).

I don't know if I'd take that deal though...Richards' term scares me.

- Ankle_Bender

I'm suggesting the Leafs get their pick back from L.A.

nowhere near a ppg dude. Over a full season that total is equal to Kadri's supposed poop season last year.

I said explore trade IF he doesnt earn it....how is that "get rid of"... Cant say anything but kadri is incredible on here. I complimented him, and stated a fact about his production. I then said he has to earn it. I apologize deeply.

Also, there are probably no Kadri "lovers" considering the kid has been objectified to the nth degree since being drafted. Ironically few of his avid detractors ever go further than saying he's one dimensional, he has a bad attitude, he's not a team player, he's not in shape (LOL)...

i can see it, i just can't see them wanting to do that so badly they'd give up 2 high picks. a first and second rounder is a massive asset loss.

In all seriousness I think he's the last on the team* (*in the NHL) that the organization should be looking to trade. IMHO.

Again have a debate normally..."i think clark is losing his mind"...."please stop clark". i think u are a great poster, but when i hear things like that, it makes me want to go into childish mode. I can easilly do the same to you and point out some of the things you were saying about how wrong i'd be avabout the leafs. I dont.

I have only no patience for jvr_42_pk81. He tries to goad me and i wont bite. Even tho he has personally attacked several times. I Just hope the kid has fun on here.

I thought Stamkos was coming home? I'm certain that I read on a Leafs thread that he was going to sign in Toronto as a FA....what happened?

Bobby Ryan's adjusted Corsi level is 4th liner according to Senstrolls fancy stat machine.

http://ownthepuck.blogspo...ph-player-evaluation.html

(to be fair I'm not yet sure If I'm laughing at the Sens for extending him long term or at this fancy stat machine that also concludes Winnik is a strong 2nd liner while Kessel is barely a 2nd liner).

Edit: oh you mean the 1st-4th line designation.
