On Amherst and Grant in the Tops plaza is Gino's (old Gino and Joes) that has an excellent pie as well.

Romeo and Juliets has a great olive and Feta pie on extra thin crust.

When I come home to visit, my sister usually gets a bunch of food from Franco's. It tastes pretty good to me.

Growing up we used to get pizza (sheet + 50 wings!!) from Brother's Pizza, but they're not around anymore.

Pizza Junction/Bozannas was good too - seemed like a 20lb sheet pizza

Real wings, are REALLY far for me.

They opened one out by the fair.

Interested in trying their pizza.

Wasn't impressed with their lasagna or chick parm. $53 bucks for one glass of wine and those two items for lunch when we could have spent the same amount and went to Mulberry and got twice the food and a better product. It wasn't bad food by any means just a tad pricey for what you got.

I wouldn't not go back if someone wanted to go, it just wouldn't be my 1st choice.

Bella Pizza and Mammosers wings but I'm in the south towns so I don't get the other options too often. I did love Kelly's Korner for wings years back but I'm not sure if Pat and Bev are still making them like they used too?

Edie's pizza IMO is the best around out this way and it isn't close.


I do like your choice of wings.

Only be there once - we were in for the weekend when my daughter had a volleyball tourney in Eden - but the atmosphere was great and the wings were great.

They're up there on my list as well. Depends on what I'm looking for though. They aren't a "traditional" style chicken wing because of the sauce. Good regular "buffalo" style wings aren't hard to find.

Still have a good amount of the sauce at home. Use it all the time.

Jeremiah's any location
L&M Lanes in the city (yes its a bowling alley)
Pour House in Penfield (Tiger Wings - not for purists but very tastey.)

Live pretty close to Bozanna's, was a little upset when they closed. Ya know..drugs n such. They had a 10 pizza log for 6.95 deal. I mean come on.

Had a guy in from out of town last night.

Loved the wings and said his next place on his list was Anchor Bar. I advised him to skip the tourist trap and that if he wanted those type of wings he's better off going to any pizzeria in the area. His best place's to go would be Bar Bill, 911, and Gabriel's Gate(if he was going to go into the city). He tipped me quite generously and thanked me for pointing him in the right direction.

Distillery took RIT-debit, so we went there very often for games, wings/beer specials. I still go there every time I head to Rock. Awesome wings, but I'd still give Jeremiah's the edge.

Their subs were amazing too!! It seems everything they made was heaped with ingredients! I'd get a sausage sub there and it seems like there were about 5 or 6 of those sausage patties on it plus a nice amount of cheese.

Mmmmm, love it.

My dad lives in Akron for the summer (full time when I was younger), so we hit Bozannas a bunch. He has to live with Mazia's now I guess.

You had to know something else was going on as their was no way you can give people the amount of food for the price they were charging. I mean their beef on weck had so much beef that we would always ask for an extra roll or two. Wasn't surprised in the least when they got shut down. More surprised in how long it was opened being that the Mobil there is the police hub.
