If you are looking for something good to read, try Harry Dolan. Murder/mystery type stuff, but real fun (The Last Dead Girl and Bad Things Happen were great books). Also, Gillian Flynn has now become real, real big time with Gone Girl, but Dark Places and Sharp Objects were good books. Steven King's kid, Joe Hill, can also write -- really strong books.

Thanks Pete, definitely will check it out.

Sure, you're smiling now, but it's only a matter of time before the Rangers put that bag back on your head.

- Pete V

Lol, the bag stays on until we clinch a playoff spot, then there will be…a new avatar!

Still an absolutely brilliant book, but I'm with you.

Don't read the Gunslinger series if you haven't already ... if you think the ending to the Stand was frustrating.

- Pete V

I wish I hadn’t already read that.

I'm all over the place. Was into Patterson for awhile. Really like Brad Thor. Jeffery Deaver and the Lincoln Rhyme series is really good crime/thriller. John Grisham. Clive Cussler. Nelson Demille and any non fiction history.

I read them both, Revival over my Florida vacation. Mr. Mercedes does read like a crime thriller, and actually ends pretty well. Not normal King.

Revival is a good book. I actually thought the ending was disturbing, but I could see some people not liking it. I did like it.

Eyes of the Dragon and the Body are probably his only books that have legitimate endings

surprisingly, I really like all the ones above. I'd add Dean Koontz with a couple of books, not all of his stuff. Watchers and Lightning were great.

Yes, I have read a decent amount of Koontz. One of his books that stands out to me was Velocity.

I don't think I've read that yet...may look for it on that recommendation.

ps, it looks like we've gone from hating each other's fan bases to a book club. This is disturbing.

talking about Boedker as a potential trade target this morning, that seems very unlikely

Take all of your hockey talk somewhere else.

But seriously, should be a fun one tonight. Habs-Rangers games usually are.

if you could beat the Habs so my coworker will shut up for a day, I'd appreciate it.
