Refs or otherwise, they were in a position to close out the game and they couldn't. Defensive side of the game fell apart in the last 6 minutes when the Kings made their push looking to tie.

Refs screwed them the entire game though, it wasn't just about those final 6 minutes. And the Kings winning goal was as simple as it gets, win the faceoff and blast a shot from the point that bounces in....not exactly the defense falling apart. Just bad luck. And as much as i wanna say Saad should have cleared the puck on LA's 3rd goal, the bottom line is there was a goalie interference that wasn't called, and i thought we were doing a fantastic job of containing their Ozone pressure up until then.

Quick doesn't blow. He's great. But u know what does blow? The Kings D without Voynov and Mitchell, and the Kings forward depth without Pearson and the artist formerly known as Mike Richards. So (frank) the Kings. Hope those weaknesses keep them from making the playoffs.

Kings aren't close to the same team without Pearson(not sure he'll be coming back in time), an effective Richards, Voynov, Mitchell, etc. And it shows. They aren't quite as good as last year, and should have lost tonight.

Kings earned the win. A lot of missed calls against the hawks as well. Kings have not.played like they did tonight in a while. They rise occasionally but kings issues are deeper than the hawks. Let's hope both teams right the ship and give us a version on playoff hockey similar to the last few years. These teams are winners and will have their say come may
