No I don't trust him right now. If he continues to struggle they will have to look elsewhere , but whoever is backing up is going to play a lot more the 2nd half. I didn't say they were going to win all those games but Halak will be rested here and there the 2nd half of the season.

Fist it was the Isles system then you realized they were giving up the 4th least amount of shots per game. Then it was it won't last because they get out shot too much and it will cost them eventually. Then you found out they were only out shot for like the 2nd time in the last 20 something games. Then it was this and that. We get it you hate the isles and now you're scraping for ideas of how they will blow it. Got it. Yeah you're making way too much sense for us Just stop it and go back to the rangers board and try to convince them because it's not happening here buddy

If the Isles had a decent goalie they win that series.

Winning in the playoffs has a lot to do with experience too. Outside boychuk and Leddy you don't have much of that so I can see that being a potential Achilles heel for you guys, but your team is definitely deep enough and talented enough to overcome it.

Yup and that's why hoarding all these points early on will help ease the pain of when Halak doesn't play. Isles have a bunch of home games coming up against not so good teams and you'll see Johnson play in a bunch of those

The only team who scares me in the east is the Habs. They match up well against the isles.

I'm not sure. Just do not see the Isles moving on from Johnson. He won his last game so that might buy him even more of a chance. Isles do not give up on guys easily.

Your coaching is weak man. Cap had no clue what hes doing. Bookmark this conversation for may. You'll see what im saying although probably not because it's your team and obviously there's a bias

Weak to the tune of coaching the #1 team in the eastern conference. And its not as if he's coaching a team full of battle-tested vets. I am and many on this site are not fans of Cappy's, but credit where credit is due: he's got this team humming and the chemistry between the players and the coaching staff is there. Cappy has something to do with that.

Defense is ranked in the lower half of the league. Not saying Boychuk, Leddy and Hamonic aren't good, because they are, but even with Halak playing very well the overall team GAA is hovering amidst the lower ten in the league.

Girardi is trash. Why we let stralman walk and signed him instead is beyond me. Fans love him because he can "play top pair minutes" yeah wonderful. Hes playing with mcdonagh. Watch film on him at the beginning of the season with Staal. Hes embarrassing

No, but Halak can't play every night. Maybe playing against his old team will light a fire under Johnson's a**? I watched him with the Rangers and Boston. He's got the ability to be a solid reliable back-up. He just hasn't shown it yet this year.

Cap isnt any good at line matchups, and even though your bottom six are great, i think it catches up to you in may. You cant roll four lines in the playoffs
