Ok youre not understanding the difference between rolling lines and matchups. They dont roll four. Every line change in chi and la has a purpose. - rferrone
Just like the isles do. |

When it comes to the playoffs I'm not counting on anything. I'm not sure how many people thought the Rangers would make the Cup? I like the Islanders chances of at least winning a round and maybe two if things go well. They better win at least one round this year. - ses111
They are moving in the right direction. Barring a catastrophic string of key injuries the Islanders are going to be a force down the stretch. |

Your coaching is weak man. Cap had no clue what hes doing. Bookmark this conversation for may. You'll see what im saying although probably not because it's your team and obviously there's a bias |

I was curious to what the rangers players themselves thought of game and the islanders team after 3 beat down.
Henrik, Brassard and Stepan all said the same. This team is too good, too fast too skilled to summarize them all.
Love it. |

How many times did you splurge into your Islanders beanie last night? |

Which I think would be safe to say many teams don't have the luxury of having good 7th and 8th dman. People criticize hickey don't really watch him much. Solid for a 6th dman. And how many teams can withstand losing their #1 goalie for a long period of time? If that's all they have to worry about then they aren't much different then most teams - Vukota
I think your biggest concern is how worn out Halak will be once the playoffs start. If he is not 100% the Islanders defense isn't stout enough to bail him out. |

Hopefully they are. As long as they remain healthy, there will be no excuse if they get bounced out in the 1st round again. It's all on coaching now that the talent is on the ice. |

Larry Brooks wrote that stupid @ss sh!t. There aren't any Pedro Martinez type of morons, on the Rangers, saying anything about the Islanders being their daddies.
Have to tip the cap though, they are the best team in the east to this point. |

By far the most talented Islanders team in several decades. |

I'm sure you'll see more of the backup the 2nd half of the season. Like I said not many teams could survive and go far without their #1 goalie so I would say just about every team has that concern. Yeah some teams with better all around D can withstand it a little but nobody is winning the cup with their backup playing |

I really hope Johnson gets the start tomorrow. Makes sense against his old team. |

Do you trust Johnson? He has looked quite pedestrian in a lot of his starts. |

I thought you read Larry Brooks' article this morning. He mentioned that the Rangers are being beaten by their daddies or something like that. I stopped reading after I read the words "Islanders are" "Rangers daddies". - MidnightMarauder
No, my bad, I didn't read the article nor will I, not a fan of him anyhow..... |

Why? Sorry if im making too much sense, but your argument is mindless? How do you know what that fourth line is going to be like in the playoffs? Theyve never been there. All im saying is capuano has no IQ when it comes to matchups. Thats pretty well documented - rferrone
Right there ur clueless bc Martin & Cizikas were there against the Pens.... |

Defense is ranked in the lower half of the league. Not saying Boychuk, Leddy and Hamonic aren't good, because they are, but even with Halak playing very well the overall team GAA is hovering amidst the lower ten in the league. |

No I don't trust him right now. If he continues to struggle they will have to look elsewhere , but whoever is backing up is going to play a lot more the 2nd half. I didn't say they were going to win all those games but Halak will be rested here and there the 2nd half of the season. |
