I'm not a Strait fan, but he has been playing some pretty solid defense last 5 games.

halak has never played more than 57 games. he averaged btween 35-45. He already has played 35 so far. What happens if he gets hurt. I rather not have to be forced to play Johnson. Johnson needs confidence. throwing him into the fire if we lost halak is not how to do it.

He's our legit #1 he never really had that title anywhere. He'll have to get used to play more games, like most teams #1s do. We have plenty of games coming up against teams he will get a look at.
