I'm honestly looking forward to his answer. The other day he was so adamant about Girardi, Klein, and Staal being better than ANY Islander defenseman I want to hear what makes the cream of the crop Ryan Mcdonagh better than Johnny Boychuck right now?

weak. What did you say to me the other day during this debate? "I'm honestly embarrassed for you right now". That's exactly how I feel about you there bud

McD showed he is all-world when he is at the top of his game. I can understand the argument that Boychuk is playing better right now but all things considered including age and contract id much rather have McD than Boychuk.

you guys have shat on us all year long but we've still won like 17 games in the last 21 (2 losses to you) I think. We're still a good team and that's with Mcdonagh anchoring our defense.

You guys have an excellent team. I never denied that and I am in no way saying we are cup favorites or anything close to that just pointing out how wrong you were in that debate the other day. It was mind numbing.

Also, Mcdonagh is an excellent defenseman with an insanely cheap contract and I'm not saying otherwise in any way.

I still can't believe you won't trade grabner straight up for ROR.

Don't start. You're taking one microcosm of my post and running it to make it sound stupid. You know my reasoning I'm not going over it again. I'm not debating who is the better player.

I really don't understand why you guys are getting so hot. None of this means anything anyway.

I'm not hot. Rangerdanger and I always debate and unlike most on this thread I don't dislike the guy and he knows that. The other day I was ready to smash him in the facking face though . That's why i'm beating this horse to death

Just a fine? Seems pretty ridiculous to follow up on an embellishment call.

Best part was there was no call on Clutterbuck for embellishment

I think that's why I was pretty surprised that one of your posters sounded a bit homicidal last night. It was a pretty entertaining game and you guys did have a number of quality chances. Both fan bases know it's the playoffs that matter and that both teams will be there. Granted I did poke at you guys a little but I didn't think it was too bad. I don't expect us to sweep the season series and I do think you guys will get some payback later on this season.

pretty ridiculous.....if they are going to continue to fine him more each time he embellishes then do the same to Kreider each time he crashes a net...he is going to seriously injure a goalie...why does he get a pass, they say they are protecting the goalies yet he repeatedly does it.

I was worried about yesterday's game. Did not like the odds of the Isles beating the Rangers a third straight time. Either way, it's not worth getting beat out of shape over either way.

Worst case scenario.....WHAT IF....I cant type it.....wait...OK... What if we cant sign Boychuck by the trade deadline, and someone offers this years first rounder for him. Some team who is on the bubble and can actually miss the playoffs? HMMMM.....Why am I thinking of this?

I cannot see the Isles trading Boychuck at the deadline if unsigned. I think they will take their chances and hope for a long playoff run and sign him after the season. Vukota do not beat me up for answering this post.

No way I trade Boychuk this year, signed by the deadline or not. This team has a shot to do some damage in the playoffs and it sends the entirely wrong signal to the player and team if they traded Boychuk before the deadline, even if he isn't signed by then. They have to show a little faith and belief in this situation. Keep Boychuk and get him an offer of $6M per for six years already.
