Dan's wondering where this attitude was the last couple years.

I saw that gif and thought of you immediately.

Anyone interested in watching 2 good teams play a hockey game tonight should flip to LA/Chi, great game so far.

That one I just watched is already erased from my memory, (frank)ing pathetic. I hope Trotz was at least a gentleman and left his phone number on MJ's nightstand.

My attitude went south every spring, just like Dan's teams.

Wow what a great idea trading the teams best faceoff guy for a useless goon, great trade so far, lapierre impacted the game in exactly zero ways. Speaking of useless I'm so sick of seeing Sutter coast around the ice, hapless swinging his stick at the opposing teams puck carrier. Putting hornqvist with sutter was a terrible move, to be effective hornquist needs to be in front of the net waiting for a pass or tapping in a rebound. Sutter never has the puck so he therefore never shoots or passes. I think botterill moved the wrong centre yesterday. Time for a blockbuster of sorts to right this ship before it sinks. I propose Sutter, Kunitz, Scuderi and next years second to Arizona for vermette, doan, and yandle. Bortuzzo, this years 4th and next years third to Vancouver for zach kassian. And craig Adams, jaiden lindo and a 6th for Drew Stafford. Inject some new life into this lineup and some actual hard work and effort.

If you find a way to sell that quit your job and sell stocks immediately.

Really not that tough. All guys with contracts for a free agent, a guy who wants to run away and a captain who deserves to not be part of another rebuild. Vermette is not staying, Sutter gives them a centre for at least one more season. They have a young d crop and need a veteran mentor and they are moving doan as a favor to doan for loyal service. Pens really arnt left with much after this season from the trade if you think about it.

LMAO, perfect!!

Glad Danny Boy is gone. The one positive is we suck at game 45ish, where it looks completely and totally useless.

This time the last few years I've been planning the parade route and everything only to get laughed out of the playoffs.

Sing it with me Penguins fans

Stafford is a ufa who could provide secondary scoring and effort. I'd be ok swapping out yandle for michalek really to get the other 2 I'm ok with it.

vermette himself is worth at least a second. likely more.

yandle could probably fetch a first and a decent prospect.

scuderi is a negative asset.

Really happy i didn't buy the Center Ice package. Most games on NBC have been awful. Sutter's line was worthless. The 4th was garbage. At least Max showed some interest, aside from that the 4th brought nothing to the table.

PM is like running a marathon with sand in your jock strap. Bloody painful. I had to turn off the volume in the third.

Sutter has been lousy for two months. I really thought those lines were screwed from the drop of the puck. Bennett plays his best games at RW and Perron likes LW. I've been trying to think positive things about the new coach, but c'mon, should have been Perron, Sid, Horny and Kuni, Sutter, Bennett.

And Goc wouldn't have done jack poop either.

Drew Stafford? one of the biggest underachievers in the game today. More times than not he looks disinterested in playing. Yep, that would be a great idea.

Agree. Everyone else sees this. I thought PH played well BTW.

Kuni is not a top line player anymore. Just slow, weak shots from a distance, he didn't look good.

Seriously. Doan is like 50 btw and not that good, hasn't been in like 3 years. I wish we moved Sutter while his stock was high. IDK watching Bennett i just see Sutter 2.0, skinny, good shot, fair hands, can't play the body, and weak on the puck.

yeah. i really dont get it.

perron/crosby/hornqvist.

put that together. leave it the (frank) alone. goals will come.

kuni has become more perimeter based. not great, but hes not totally useless at this point either. when comeau comes back, i really want to see

perron/crosby/hornqvist
kunitz/malkin/comeau

and leave it alone for a little stretch.

i agree with that analysis on bennett. however, that doesnt make him useless though. i think he is a decent enough guy on the third or bumping up to second from time to time.

but yes, him and sutter are very repetitive. and that makes it glaring.

Vermette for Sutter, Kunitz for doan, michalek(instead of yandle) for Scuderi which evens out the fact that vermette is ufa.

Better than adams, much better, is a pure rental and costs very little. Not looking at him as the ultimate saviour just an improvement with no long term reprecussions. Need to trade adams before someone gets the stupid idea of re-signing him

That lies the problem with this organization. It's inability to develop forwards that have the ability to be top six forwards. Bennett is a former first round pick and hasn't developed at all. Some will use the built in excuses because of injuries. Fact be told, he isn't a top six forward.

When I look at our roster there are so many guys that could use more the body: Sutter, Bennett, Spaling, Crosby (looking at you Bud), Martin, Scuderi...

We are too Nice right now. Bring in a couple responsible Hitters and show some interest please. Crosby doesn't look the same.

Nice reasoning ... I have seen pee-wee hockey players this year better than Adams. Your point? Stafford sucks. He is an expensive underachiever that becomes a UFA this year. Even in his good years, 52 points is his highest, he provided secondary scoring playing with Vanek, Moulson and Pominville mostly. That should tell you something.

Need to trade Adams?
To who? For what? He doesn't have any value. You don't get it.
