Why isn't hornqvist up with Sid? Also, Bennett is a much better RW. Really hate these lines.
- madmike71

And Kunitz, Sutter and Bennett were playing well together.

if you as an organization need to rely on a coach that's been with another team for years... then your coach probably isnt the biggest problem you have.
- SuperHenderson13

i certainly agree.

Someone with grit! Not opposed to Tocchet, a better choice might be Noel or Wilson. Hell, bringing Bylsma back for a "Hey, we f-d that up" sequel would be preferred by me. This isn't NHL coaching! You build a system around familiarity, not constantly shuffling every line with a near 50% turnover rate.
- Topshelf Mountain

wow. your post is so unbelievable i dont even know where to start.

1. Tocchet? you think guys would respect him more as a head coach than as an assistant? you think that's the solution?

2. You want a gritty coach (whatever the hell that means) and your solution is Noel? Ha. Noel has about as much grit and personality as a rock.

3. Bylsma, yes. because the last 4 years have been great, right?

4. you shuffle lines when there are injuries and you are trying to figure out where guys belong at.

theres being stupid and then theres being yinzer stupid.

Pens clearly shooting at Holtby from long range to pad that Corsi, Fenwick.

And another metro fighter with a visor.

i love the perron trade. and i wouldnt undue it given the chance. but if this team is still looking for another big addition, i look hard at vermette. i think the cost is likely prohibitive, but man i would like him on this team.

I'm sorry, but bennett is not top 6 material yet. He has potential, but his injuries have severely slowed his progress. I'd take a Kunitz-malkin-comeau line for the 2nd

Caps continue to look solid. If I'm the pens looking at the isles, rangers and caps I'm starting to wonder if we'll be holding a wild card spot in March.

The players are playing a system put in place by the coach, and they've been exposed This season. Don't get personal, I'm throwing out an opinion with some idea of a solution.

I don't think Ovi did anything there but I sure hope we target him with the game out of hand.

He never has been a top six forward. People wanted to assume he was because of his resume before. Saw many of his game he actually played at DU and I didn't see the hype. He has potential, but he is flawed.

Nice effort all around from the guys to the coaching staff. poopty line combos tonight. Hell, maybe they should have sat Crosby. After all, we have a pretty good record when both 87 and 71 sit.

Great effort last night at home ... poor effort tonight.

I'm sure Goc would have made a bit difference.

I agree with announcers , shouldn't even be a penalty on Ovie , Ehrhoff went to hit him , wasn't his fault.

to be 100% honest with you, i'd much rather get a wildcard spot and go through the Atlantic than go through the Metro.

He is a guy I would intentionally target even if he didn't do anything. Can't stand him.

Of the top teams in the Atlantic, only Detroit seems like a threat. Still doesn't feel like the Habs are as good as their record and I don't think Tampa has enough grit for the playoffs. I think I'd agree with you.

Agreed, no intent at ALL by Ovi, plus he's not even that type of player....

For the record if Goc was here it would only be 3-0!
