Talk about summing up my issue with the nhl right there....thats two mins..but 6 cross checks to the back of the head is defence in the playoffs haha |

Just another Metro poop show.
Goc would have cheated over towards OV. |

The guy looks lost, and everyone on here knows that's not good when you're sitting on the bench. A change is needed, I don't care about the .600 plus win percentage, they need someone who'll rattle the cage a bit. |

It's ok it's only January. This will get fixed in the playoffs. |

The pens are in a world of trouble if they cannot figure out the metro. This system is being exploited more than disco dans against our division rivals. It seems like a great way to play in the west...but we cannot do poop against any division team..even carolina looked good against the pens[url] |

Does nhl rival night really need to advertise the superbowl. The last thing the nfl needs is more coverage. Id say if anything the superbowl should be layin it on thick about the nhl...build the game not some other league! |

It's an NBC thing, not an NHL/NFL thing. |

We will see how often the nhl is pumped up during the superbowl...over under on that 1 |

Save the wide-eyes for the ladies, yes it's exactly what is needed right now. Sid and Geno still have their antics but 40% of the team has been replaced. It's still a very coachable locker room with the right guys running it. Lots of "leaders by action" that can turn the room around right now. |

Meh... It's not the system, it's the players. It takes time for systems to become second nature. Plus, they still refuse to put the puck on net instead of passing. I'll say this however. I do not like the D jumping up so much. Some of these guys aren't capable and should just play a simple game.
In a perfect world we would have gotten an experienced coach. Too bad there wasn't much out there.
Oh and by the way, Hoff couldn't hit the ocean with his toe's in the water. WTF. |

They couldn't promote the sport if they tried. Come on, their marquee games are played at 12:30 on Sunday afternoons in the spring. |

Your missing the point...nfl needs more pumping up as much as the kardashions. I wanna see the best sport in the world grow and get more coverage...I dont wanna see nfl when im watching nhl...and vice versa truthfully. |

Bennett Sutter and Horny...LOL Almost forgot they were playing.
On the bright side, my expectations haven't been this low since 2009. That ended well.

Why isn't hornqvist up with Sid? Also, Bennett is a much better RW. Really hate these lines. |

Canada road trip in two games is going to be a good thing, I think. Lots of shuffling parts lately, a long distance trip like that could promote some cohesion. |

Someone with grit! Not opposed to Tocchet, a better choice might be Noel or Wilson. Hell, bringing Bylsma back for a "Hey, we f-d that up" sequel would be preferred by me. This isn't NHL coaching! You build a system around familiarity, not constantly shuffling every line with a near 50% turnover rate. |

if you as an organization need to rely on a coach that's been with another team for years... then your coach probably isnt the biggest problem you have. |
