I think the whole Kreider thing is so blown out of proportion, we just use it as a running joke around here. Kind of like how Pitt fans think Staal is one of the dirtiest players in the league.

Prust is generally a player that can't do much else than throw a hit, flop and fight.

Don't miss him in the slightest.

The Rangers made a huge mistake in signing Glass but I think they made that signing with the hope they could address their lack of grit. I think they will try to address this come the deadline but it should not be at the sake of young talent.

Ok I just remember hearing about how awesome he was when he was still with you guys you would know better then me

I don't agree with your first paragraph at all.

I don't see how this toughness question can't be answered with a middling pick, not a prospect of much worth.

Especially the way Halak played last night. An "ugly" goal might have been the only way you were scoring in the 2nd period. Then it's a one-goal game and everyone in blue and orange probably grips their sticks just a bit more tighter.
- potvin05

Exactly. I do think the Isles are in the Rangers heads. Not diminishing how well the Islanders have played, or that it would change the outcome, but the way the Rangers have played the Isles and Tampa is not how they usually play. I think its a combination of how well both the Isles and Tampa have played this year and the Rangers being intimidated.

Staaling is actually now a verb penguins fans use instead of decapitate.

It wasn't a big deal last night but that's what the 3 or 4th time he done that already in his short career. Just saying it would suck to see Hank seriously hurt one day because this kid doesn't know how to stop in front of the goalie or just doesn't want to
- Vukota

Hank has been run into his fair share of times throughout his career. As a matter of fact Clutterbuck crosschecked Brassard intentionally into Hank in the seocnd period last night.

Fact is, goalies get run, Kreider's rep for running goalies is a jaded one. It all began with Price's injury last year in the conference finals. Emelin's trip caused that, not Kreider blowing Price over without impediment.

I want car bomb back I think he'd fit right back into that fourth line spot. Could do without the stupid penalties though...
- NashtyLight

Aside from the whole lineman incident he was a good Ranger, scored some big goals and played on that edge, Dorset for Glass trade off is a dud, there was no reason to trade him and construct a new 4th line which sucks

This team needs a shakeup, maybe not a trade but I'm all for scratching Zucc, maybe it will jump start him like early last season, until Feb 16th nothing matters

Hindsight is 20/20 but we see our first example of where Duclair, Being sent back hurts them, nown we don't have a player to take from the bottom and plug in the top 6

Of course not. So much time left. I still hate when teams like the Flyers get points because there is so much time left and I still feel like even though they are like 18 points behind the isles they could still catch them
- Vukota

That's the diehard Isles fan in you....

They dont make a skate sharp enough to stop the man known as Kreider.

We missed him when he left. No doubt about it. We had like Asham as our replacement for him. But we stopped missing him when Dorsett came over. Now we miss Dorsett.

Prust isn't as effective anymore as he used to be though.

It's not staals fault that Crosby naturally assumes a bent over doggystyle position.

The answer to all your problems?

I don't believe I ever said that. The Devils should be selling, and Tootoo can actually stick handle and maybe score a goal or two. He can definitely fight and not be intimidated. You guys feasted on the Western Conference, a whole different animal, I'm just saying a guy like Tootoo would help big time, that's it.

- potvin05

Tootoo is not an answer but someone of that ilk would help.

I like how Kreider seems to love the villan role he is portrayed as. Makes him more bad arse

That's kinda my point. I'm at work right now, but he's the first guy who popped into my head. The Devs should be sellers.

Its why we love him. That was great when he said, he regrets he didn't score on Price.
