Players used to play for there teams...real heart and sole guys..now they play for contracts and $$$$...show me another bobby Orr,Tim Horton.jean Beliveau,Dave Keon,tiger Williams.Allen STANLEY,Ted Harris,Carl Brewer,Pete Stemkowsky,Johnny Bower...these guys played for 3diffrent teams .not 32..they came out with new sticks bigger pads more steroids to compete with how men used to play hockey's take away all the bullpoop and I guarentee the older teams in this day n age would kill the teams now

Well educate yourself and watch a few games from "back in the day" tell me how slow they are or how watered down the teams are..THAT IS MY POINT that iwith 30 teams(not 32 that was a typo) each team was packed with stars not just one or two per team,and if you watch players were a lot tougher then they are today..if you don't think so I say again watch a few philly games back in the day and where they got the
