Im fine with that. Or sign one of them. I dont think the goalies are as much the problem as getting outshot 35-22 every game and having historically bad possession stats and special teams. Neither looks like they are gonna be the full time starter going forward Though. Does enroth/neuvirth and a fifth for a third or fourth work? It might be that bad.

Not enough there. Lack isnt much of an improvement over what weve got, sbisa would replace myers- but its a downgrade, and shinkaruk- meh, i want more than shinkaruk coming back as a forward if myers gets moved.

That's pretty solid and Lack is young, Shinkuruk is going to be very good IMO. Sbisa is mean to play against, but I see your point.

That he came here with the goal of winning the Stanley Cup, but since he got here, doing everything he could to allow Ted Nolan to fail seemed a lot more fun.

First off, we can finally see what we have/don't have in Hackett and it's probably more of a "don't have" scenario, so that goes a long way in ensuring a top two pick.

Second, (frank) the Yotes. That sorry fan base does not deserve a top two pick.

He has been handed a hand loaded with aces.

Hard to screw the hand up that he has been dealt.

Nothing he really worked for to be fair.

99% of it was Darcy's work.

I am more than willing to allow him some time to prove to me that he is a capable GM without being tutored or spoon fed by his uncle.

But alas, as I previously said , it will be tough for him to screw this hand up.

So saying as much, we may never know if he is, or isn't a capable GM for a few years yet.

I can just about guarantee that's the price for Meszaros.

Stafford, stewart, mitchell, and probably meszaros should all be pretty easy to move. benoit will be tough. The 3 goalies?- none are playing particularly well, none have proven track records, and enroth and neuvirth are ufas at seasons end. Who is looking for one of those guys- even as a backup, and what would they possibly be willing to give up?

Some 'assets' have such little return value that it's not even worth giving up the roster spot. Our UFAs last year who walked.. Konopka, D'Agostini, McBain (who probably had a little value I guess), Talinder.. I think we kept those guys because their return was low enough to justify them to prevent the roster holes they would create if they were traded for 6th and 7ths. I'm actually surprised no one wanted McBain. Speaking of defensemen from last year, everyone needs to know Christian Ehrhoff has one power play point this season. One.
