Honest question, don you really believe Aaron Ekblad would be an All-Star on this team? Don you think Duncan Keith gets nominated for a Norris trophy playing for the Sabres? Does Giordano have 40 points here?

Stats are relative here. Myers still plays by far the most minutes, against the toughest opponents, with the most defensive zone starts. Even as putrid as his 9 points are, it still leads the blue line despite him missing 8 games

There is middle ground. Its a solid number 2 defenseman, hes not one of those elite number 1s but hes better than just a second pairing guy.

Back in I think 2011 when they signed all those vets on FA day, they had a lot of kids in the system like we do now. Their team was laughable for the exception of I think the 2011-2012 season. The Panthers are the future Sabres and I think we'll be in their current position in a year or two from now. Most if not all of their vets are very much complimentary players at best. Their kids are leading the charge. Theoretically they should be even better next year. We probably have a year or two more to wait until kids make an impact on this team. I'd say we're the 12-13 Florida Panthers today.
