He's not being suspended for coming in out of shape though, which was Myers' "only" fault

He's not talking about from an organizational standpoint, he's saying from a fan standpoint. Some of the fans here got really critical of Myers because he came into camp out of shape before (not this year). Whereas Zadorov came in out of shape and has an obvious attitude issue right now. Why don't those same fans that called Myers out call out Zadorov?

I interpreted it the opposite way, that Zadorov is catching flak now and being suspended for something, yet Myers never got punished. *shrug*

Pretty sure Myers caught a lot of crap here for his constant out of shape training camps

I would rather keep him . We won't have to go looking for his type of player to fill the 4th-3rd line . Rather than being stuck with a Peters and Ellis type there.

I'm ok if he's part of a package to bring us back a good talent (not that he'd be the major piece, obviously)

And there was alot of debate about whether he earned that contract, too.

Oh, he absolutely did. But somehow there are people around here who think that we should trade Myers because he can be easily replaced by Zadorov.

My question is this. Myers came into camp out of shape and it showed that "he wasn't a true professional."

Zadorov does the same and then refeuses to report to juniors, and then has a travel mishap yet people chalk it up to learning experience and say Zadorov can easily replace Myers.

Why the double standard.

myers at least had a history, one that included a calder trophy...

but from what I recall, the main reason myers came in out of shape during that lockout-shortened 2012-13 season was due to an ankle injury suffered while playing in Austria...he wasn't in nhl shape to begin with and the injury made it worse
