They dont want it because its blatantly obvious he can be acquired for a cheaper salary and for pennies on the dollar.

Kings are going to have to eat some salary for Richards to move on.

oh yeah for sure, but they arent going to get 5.75m taken off their hands with nothing coming back. They are going to have to take some cap back even if its 1.5m-2m short term.

They are screwed so they need to start paying up in order to do it. They will have to be givign some good draft picks or a decent prospect for a team to take Richards contract on for them
