Did okposo get hurt at Andy McDonald's wedding?

We will be fine. If you ask me missing boychuk and hamonic together was bigger blow and we were fine.

As Lo g as it's not halak or it isles have the depth. Someone will step up in Okposos absence.

Is the game on tomorrow?

Having not read all the posts, does anyone know what KO's injury is? I don't remember him ever getting hurt and now he's out two months? Weird...

This is a blow, no doubt. But good teams overcome this stuff. The isles are a good team. They'll get through the next 6-8 weeks and not fall off. I'm just curious as to what happened and what is injured.

Heard on here he needed emergency eye surgery. Have no idea how true it is or where it occurred if true?

I seem to recall Okposo getting hit with the puck or a stick in the eye ...... late in the game against Philly?? Really not sure if I'm right. It didn't seem like a big deal at the time.

I find it a little troubling that Ness was chosen over Reinhart. I thought when Reinhart was chosen #4 overall that he was a lock to be a Top 4 d-man for the Isles. I know that d-men take longer to develop than forwards, but Pulock, I believe is younger than Reinhart and apparently is developing faster.

Dmen are the hardest to predict on how they will turn out. But u are correct on Pulock developing faster and with other's in Mayfield & Czuczman also in the fold, that's why I think Reinhart could be used as bait to acquire JT's W.

No problem unless it's Halak. Then there's a big problem.

A couple years ago I thought Dehaan may not develop because of the repeated shoulder injuries, so I'm gonna leave Reinhart alone for another couple years

Time to play some the BRI guys if more injuries, Quine, Sundstrom etc. Teams have to meet these challenges, still more concerned with any losses on D since you can overplay forwards more easily than wearing down the D.

McDonald, Conacher, storm, myself, Stephen Hawking all will get called up before Quine and Sundstrom

To be honest I am truely not too worried. While KO has been great, it's not like he has been a goal scoring machine this season. This gives us time to experiment to see if there are better combinations. Maybe now we finally get to see Strome with JT.

Also I think Grabo + Lubo > KO + Strait.

Never a more deserving AHL All-Star. If only that wasn't the ceiling.

Ness has been playing against men for two years and Reinhart has been for 3 months. I have been saying for a year that pulocks ceiling is higher but they are completely different type of dman

Not to mention Reinhart has been hurt and had two separate cups of coffee in the NHL. He's played 12 less games than Ness.
