Terrible perception my friend. I'm one of the least competitive people you'll meet. But you sound like one of those whiney guys that over celebrates and fist pumps on one knee when you're team wins and down plays a loss by alluding to being irritated by the uber competitive type guys you apparently hate.

You're the kind of person whose opinion I have a difficult time respecting because not only are you "right", you're going to be the first guy to tell someone with an opposing view just how "wrong" we are.

I agree with you Paul. I enjoyed watching the draft (loved the trade and making Ovechkin sit until the 3rd last), skills, and the game. I enjoy getting to know their personalities, and you can see the young guys like Forsberg just eating it up. I thought they should have all agreed that whoever was on the ice in the game when Weber wound up, should turtle and cover their heads, including the goalie.

It's a pointless and pathetic game that holds absolutely no meaning to anyone except to a minority number of misguided fans. If it were a real game that had meaning I'd be willing to compromise my feelings on it but as it is now, its a game that should be nixed from the schedule.

Pretty silly to put players at risk for injury in a half speed exhibition game that's outcome means absolutely nothing.
