#Kings' forward Mike Richards has cleared waivers. #Sens have placed forward Colin Greening on waivers.

- jimbro83

No surprised Richards wasn't claimed by another team. That contract is a mess and he has steadily been on the decline since 2012; despite enjoying team success during this time.

I hope everyone survived that "Historic" Blizzard. I know there was one reported potential catastrophe of a dog that was momentarily lost in a wind-blown snow drift. His owner said "Kilo" an 8lb chihuahua, standing a mighty 11 inches at the ear tips, disappeared while outside doing his "business" only to emerge moments later, some 6 feet from where he was last seen. "The little guy looked like he'd been through a mini avalanche," added the very relieved owner. Governor Cuomo, at a press conference spoke of how his pre-emptive closing of all schools, subways & public transportation, all non-vital municipal services & local gov't agencies and a basic declaration of Martial Law with road travel restricted after an 11PM curfew, "was directly responsible for saving countless lives and only cost the State of NY about $42 million to give everyone the day off." Officials estimate that it may take the better part of today and possibly as long as early Wednesday morning for all NY'ers to dig out from as much as 10 inches of snow before we can all expect things to get back to normal.

It there a point to this or are you just proving yourself to be an a$$hole

Game should be cancelled tonight. Despite the rivalry, and the standings implications, this game will not sellout this evening. A shame too because this game means so much and both teams are playing really good hockey this season.

no doubt, no surprise.

He was 34-18 vs the Rangers in the finals in faceoffs and overall pretty solid contributor in their Cup wins, but he looks washed up

I think everyone in Nassau will be fine, no way Suffolk County people are getting there. I am excited to watch the game tonight for sure though.

And this is why I kept voting MAF into the All-Star game..

Marc-Andre Fleury, Pittsburgh Penguins: Why do goaltenders even want to play in All-Star Games? I mean, honestly. Poor Fleury was lit up for seven goals in the second period for Team Foligno. Though he has been terrific this season for the Penguins, he was hung out to dry and told reporters afterward that it felt like the longest 20 minutes of his career.

So, it was what he's used to playing every game for the Femguins.

“The way I look at this, Mike Richards, in his career, he’s shown he can be a .330 hitter and get you 80 RBIs as an All-Star player,” LA King GM Dean Lombardi explained, per LA Kings Insider. “So, maybe at this stage, maybe it’s not there. But I still assume he’s capable of being a .280 hitter and doing a lot of those things for you that only he can do.

“Let’s face it – right now he’s batting .200.”

I am pumped up to watch it too but I would love to see this game with a full house of fans at Nassau.

It's a great atmosphere, even when the games didn't mean as much as it does tonight. Rangers need to take this game in regulation to seriously get back in the division race.

I don't think it will sellout tonight whereas, under normal weather circumstances, this was a lock for a sellout.

If it does, hats off to both the Isles and Rangers fans tonight.

I remember he had a key goal in that Game 3 win. The Kings that hurt the Rangers the most were Williams, Pearson, Toffoli, Stoll, Gaborik and the refs.

I have a feeling its going to be a sellout. A lot of people skipped work today and theyre digging out in Suffolk pretty quickly.

Richards has literally won almost every major trophy in hockey you can win: the Memorial Cup, the World Junior Championship, the Olympic Championship, the Calder Cup, the Wales and Campbell Trophies, and the Stanley Cup. Crazy! Success follows that guy wherever he goes, no doubt about that.

And now, for the moment, he's out of a NHL job. Crazy.

Lundqvist in goal, Hunwick is the sixth D, but Arniel says a couple forwards are under the weather so waiting to decide in warmups

Kreider is one of the under the weather players.

Would rather go with seven defensemen and 11 forwards than throw Glass back in there tonight.

The question now is what will be done about Alex Semin? Waivers, send to AHL, buyout? It seems clear Peters' patience has run out.

You know, you can go frank yourself, because when Armageddon comes, I'm ready franker. I've got a celler with 18 years worth of can food. Better to be safe than sorry. Have fun getting eaten by hell dragons, while I'm enjoying my Chef Boyardee raviolis and catching up on Seasons 5-7 of Sons of Anarchy. That's right! I bought some batteries too b*tches!!!!

Who wishes they were prepared now, huh?!!!
