The Richards situation is kind of hard to believe, in that it shows that a really good damn GM like Lombardi can do something monumentally stupid. They didn't buy him out this summer when they had a chance, and 1/2 year later, they have him on waivers. I guess its hard to make that type of a move when you just won the Cup, but I actually have no doubt in my mind that the Rangers would have bought out the other Richards, even if they won that series.

On a related note, if the Kings were to retain the maximum allowable 50% of Richards' salary, I'm still not sure I would want that contract.

Too bad Columbus didn't get 2-3 feet of snow yesterday so the NHL could cancel that horrid game someone still calls an NHL All-Star game. I am not sure what's worse...that game or Fox's glow-puck from the late 90's. It was like WWE on ice, but in slow-motion.

No, I did not. Already shoveled once. Dog had to go the vet as we got confirmed he has a dislocated hip and needs surgery. Plus, likely have several hours of work to do tonight. Last, have Okposo in my home fantasy league. Needless to say, not in a great mood, so don't mess with me, my patience may be thin tonight.
