Don't worry, if it hits you guys I'm sure we will get it in one form or another. I just find it odd that in this day and age you boys still are not equipped for even a minor snow storm. It's like an emergency lockdown with roads, schools, airports etc closed.

30 is a pretty big dump.
That would slow us down a bit in Montreal... Business would go on as usual but definitely slowed down a bit.

We are prepared for minor to mid level storms, but down here its just not financially feasible to have an army or plows (and drivers) available when we only get a substantial storm maybe once a year...that being said, there are way too many people that think this is Armageddon down here, its just snow people....

Living in the North, I used to take some pride in being tough when it came to the weather. I'm over that now. Last year, we had one of the worst winters ever in Michigan, and when it was consistently taking me 2 hours + to get to work, I didn't really feel any pride or toughness. I felt like I wanted to throw a spear through the guy driving next to me, and move to Florida (where I would immediately begin to female dog about the heat).

Seriously, you get diagnosed, and really don't even take a day off. The only complicating factor is if the snow makes it difficult to get pharmacy's to buy protection, but even still, you can just use something around the house like a sandwich bag or Press and Seal.
