and a 2nd, he's not necessarily a top level 2nd centre, might be in the end, and many around the NHL see potential in Gardiner, he seems just the type of player the Wings know how to mild into a very solid player... |

Anybody signing him for $5m+ will likely end up regretting it. Good kid, great on the PP, needs serious work/insulation at 5v5.
