I was thinking about that, a few months back. I'm also tuned in to that. It wouldn't surprise me. The only workaround, is to trade your core, for younger already drafted players. That way, you move up the development, by a year or two. To make that work, you have to move the core, before the trade deadline.

actually...this year i've barely watched. I have probably never missed more than 3 games a year since about '87. This year i've probably watched 40-50%. I knew what was gonna happen. I was waiting for the implosion. Now it's interesting. It's wierd, i used to base my night around the leafs....when i wasn't watching this year (i'd be watching other teams play) i didn't miss it at all. It has nothing to do with where they are in the standings, it's all about excitement..sorry but adding 4th liners to a failed core didn't excite me. Hopefully now there's change.
