given the market and his cap hit, Franson should absolutely be able to get a 1st from a playoff team.

top 10 pick highly unlikely, unless an extension was involved. Horacek may want to get a look at each of the kids that are "close" for the next while. Could see Loov, Nilsson and even MaxWilliam over the next while too.

Meh... Nonis has a lot of relationships around the league. He's not going to be able to do anything without Shanny's stamp of approval, but I don't mind him being the guy making the calls.

agreed. I think franson gets a decent return. Low 1st if the defenseman market stays thin. Franson and JVR (whom i both like) to start the rebuild at the deadline. EVERYONE else but Rielly/nylander over the summer/at the draft.
