but would he not be a better defender if it wasn't all on his shoulders?
or Fransons for that matter - the_eye
Yes he would be better he was on the second pairing. |

James is nothing but a 2 bit hustler, who was given a gift by God. He's turned it into a corporate entity. It's not about the love of the game, but the green that he picks off of the trees of the NBA fanbase. I have no use for this conceited piece of sh!t! |

#1 D-Men are not getting 7 million now. It's 9. - RogerRoeper
Ahh the old, "it will be justified because of the cap going up", well the cap isn't going up this year, and with the price of oil... I'm guessing not too many 9 or 7 million dollar dmen, but surely all of them will be much better than Dion Phaneuf... |
|
|
|
Just because one got 9 mill doesn't mean they all do - Bieksa#3
And Subban is overpaid at $9 mil. |

not what I said, allow me to rephrase.
wouldn't he better if he didn't have to shoulder all the responsibilities? |

I think their records speak for themselves. - Champ
Vancouver has a way, way better defense. Toronto needs a Hamhuis or Tanev. Tanev is a perfect example of stats mean crap |

Hope it's not cancelled. Major snow storm scheduled the next couple of days. - RogerRoeper
I see that about the storm. Storm warnings in as far as Syracuse NY. About 100 miles from here. Hopefully it stays the hell on the coast. Maybe it would work to have it still go on and the Leafs having to travel in late with no rest and be nothing against the Devils. Then we can give them their thank you card and parting gift of Dave Clarkson. |

Exactly, as a second pairing he would not have all the responsibility. Let's say he is in LA now.

There's great guts in the NBA. Memphis and The Spurs are all heart. |

And Tanev is close to hamhuis. Tanev plays on our #1 pair. The kid hardly ever makes a mistake. He's not flashy or anything. Great skater and makes a solid 1st pass. His instincts are incredible |

And the east are a bunch of basket cases, ready to be caddies to the winner of the west in the finals.

I doubt his play improves and now he gets to see Chi/SJ/StL/Ana even more than now. |

Yes, that would work. We might be able to move Richards elsewhere for a cheap asset.

I'm thinking if Richards was movable for an asset that would have been done already. I'd be surprised if they got a 1st but time will tell |
