As long as there are no picks or major prospects involved why not? Lack most likely won't ever be a starter here and Kassian ain't goin nowhere here it appears being a healthy scratch every 2-3rd game. I can't see Lack wanting to be a backup here for 5 seasons and it appears more and more each day that Benning is shopping Kassian. They may be young sure but how does management and coaching view their progress? Many view Kassian as a bust and Lack never to be a no 1.

If playoffs are on the radar (and Benning has said they are) then we need a top 6 guy to round us out. With Markstrom and Jensen at the ready Benning can take calls on Lack/Kassian. We all know the full rebuild is coming we can worry about that next year. But with playoffs in the sights of management something needs to be done.

Kassian hasnt been a scratch every 2nd or 3rd game. This just happened recently and he's in the line up now. Also, how does it appear Benning is shopping Kassian? You over and over turn media rumors into fact in your mind. Benning says he's not shopping but will listen TO ALL inquiries on ALL players. So in your logic, he's shopping the entire team then.

Enough with the half truths and exaggerations as you beat your "trade our young players for old or rental players." drum. Or at least stop being "matter of factly" about these stupid rumors you try and sell as facts.

Saw him first with the Allman Bros. back in the late '80's early '90's. Seen Gov't Mule a number of times, always a killer show!!

buys them time to develop their young guys. It's been an issue they've had for a long time. actual cash paid out for the last two years of the deal is only 3mil.

Not too sure, seeing as how half the season is done whatever team picks him up would only have to pay the remaining half of this years salary but that's it. Also, if he retires early i believe L.A would still get recaptured
