If anything I think the LAK are looking at either Coburn or Grossman from Philly....possibly even LSchenn. I think Philly would like to move either of the first two before LSchenn since he's their only RH Dman.
- MANXMAN

Yes because your a philly fan. They are only looking at Coburn, Schenn and Grossman and not Franson, Green and Sekera.

32 year old, offensive blackhole Tomas Kopecky would hopefully symbolize the very asset Benning should stay away from.

If Kassian gets linked to a Kopecky move i will not be very happy

Canucks want to get younger they don’t need an injury prone 32 year old Kopecky who has 7 points, they have Kassian 5 points (24 games), and Nicklas Jensen who are both a decade younger and the same size. The team is looking for scoring, 7 points you can get off the waiver wire.

Bill Watters was on Leafs Lunch on Friday going on about Franson. He firmly believes Franson is gone soon so someone else can negotiate an extension well before the trade deadline. He ranked Vancouver and Anaheim as the two "leading horses" to win the Franson "Sweepstakes"..

Reports have noted that Franson has a desire to sign in Vancouver as a UFA, if true i doubt Vancouver management would move assets to acquire him...

and kassian is a constant scratch, not even good enough to be a 4th liner.

We all have a Jake Gardiner. Just not stupid enough to sign them to a huge contract

Not really, he was injured for awhile. I think he has only been a healthy scratch a handful of times.

Jesus Ek, considering you throw out 10 sentences or less. It would make sense to proof read before posting. Toronto is in on Franson??? Wtttfff are u talking about
- TruLeaf07

Read it again:

"I would expect LA to get in on this, as would Toronto..."

It could have been worded better, but clearly it means that Toronto also expect interest from LA...

Kopecky gives 100% EVERY game. He is always in front of the net, kills penalties like a beast, and blocks every shot he can. He is ideal for a contending team.

Are you insinuating that Vancouver is a contender?

Nothing, I just saw some people taking little shots at Kopecky and he is a much better player than the stat sheet shows.

Canucks don't need 3rd, 4th liners.
