You know what's (frank)ed up? We were kids when we thought they tried. We also thought 8-bit games were the poop. You ever go back and play some of the ones you hold highly? They are poop. Maybe they never tried, and just put on a show like they do now and it's only because we were kids we thought otherwise?

No. They used to try to break the records. They are just hoping for hometown team to win now. For a competition, there is no competition.

I know you've never played Ultima IV. When I was a kid, I had a Master System. This game was an RPG. I played the living (frank) out of it. I remember it being THE game that cemented my love for RPG's. I never finished it though. So I started up a few weeks back on an emulator. Jesus. (frank)ing. Christ. It absolutely destroyed the amazing memories I had. It actually broke my heart.

i loved the original rainbow 6 on n64 or whatever system it was and some of my best video game memories were playing through it with a buddy of mine. i went back a few years ago and hated everything right down to the controls. lol

Dreamcast maybe? My cynical hatred filled self loathes the 20 year olds who pretend they are in the know when they talk about the 8-bit and 16 bit systems as if that's what they grew up on. It's like when people rip on me for being awesome at jacks and kick the can.
