At most an interference penalty if that. Another example of the whining that goes on over here. Downie does that and theres no blog about it and you guys are talking about how wonderful an addition hes been to your line up.

Last time I looked - it's a Pens blog. We can discuss things like that & grumble all we want because it's our blog. Now if I were to go on the Islanders blog & start then you would have good reason to tell me where to go.

No matter how you try & excuse it the video tells the story. It would be like a wild fan coming on here & saying - but he wasn't looking at him when his elbow smashed into his face & but he said sorry to Sid for Downie. Get the drift big guy. Dirty play that is ok with you fine - go back to your own blog.

I thought you already were. No? You're here more than the blogger guy.

I didn't know if I had been officially adopted or not. I would like dual citizenship, though.

Does it look like you're trying to start a fire by rubbing two sticks together on those lonely date nights?

Are there any Pens people on this board today? It's like this thread turned into the Metro division!
- Topshelf Mountain

There used to be but logic has prevailed. I haven't seen any Rangers fans and, well, there aren't any Devils fans so...

As long as everyone is respectful and tries to stick to some semblance of reason, it should be good. Sadly, that lasts for like 4 posts.

Ray Whitney just announced his retirement. Is that really considered 'an announcement'?

The adoption officially goes through after the double amputee kid is finalized.

Not really lol, but I do have a lot of respect for what he did in his career. Gifted player who played a lot longer than most figured he could.

He played on 8 teams I think. That's more than Mike Comrie, which is absurd.

Point per game playoff performer. Good stuff; wish him the best.

That he played at all is pretty remarkable.

Stickboy for the Edmonton Oilers grows up to be an undersized NHLer who racks up over 1000 points, wins the Stanley Cup and is a 2012 Second Team All-Star.

Pretty good.

EDIT: Also was named WHL MVP and won a Memorial Cup.
