So what are the guesses for Rinaldo's suspension? My guess is 6 games. Wouldn't mind seeing 10+ though
- Streit2ThePoint

I think he gets 6-8

Would prefer the rest of the season plus 82.

One Pittsburgh reporter saying Letang is out indefinitely and another says the report is not true. The pens blogger speculates that the indefinite part may be because they are trying to influence the outcome of the Rinaldo suspension.

I find this ironic because a longer suspension could actually benefit the Flyers.

Not sure about the amout of LTIR cap space they have left, no capgeek.

I think Colaiacovo will be waived if Timonen returns.

He'd be the most obvious choice I would think.

I literally cannot wait until Rinaldo comes off of suspension and plays again. All hell is going to break loose.

As added punishment, he should be required to undergo plastic surgery so he can look just like Malkin

Speculation. The blood clots in his lungs are god, but they're still in his leg (last I heard). That said, he's probably on pretty severe blood thinners and nowhere near game shape.

And who will be there to argue with everyone, and rationalize why Rinaldo is playing?

I think one of the founding members died, so they decided to cease existing. More or less.

Weird, but their call.

Rinaldo will be traded and become Carcillo and Downie

NHL's $73M cap projection for next season was based on an .88 exchange rate with no further slide... Canadian Dollar currently at .81 and still dropping fast:

It's not in the NHL CBA that teams are allowed to trade players to car washes.

I hope he gets demoted and we bury his cap hit in the AHL next year. That's a few hundred thousand we could use on an NHL player.

No big deal. Since the Flyers have zero cap issues, they will just going on a UFA shopping spree!
