funny greiss now saying he "had" the puck....wtf?? i can see him saying it should have been blown dead (not that i agree) but to say you "have it" while you're obviously fumbling for it as it rolls down your back and drops to the ice is just......inane

I would have followed that by asking him if he had the puck on the Schenn no-goal as well.

The guy next to me (who's a complete bumhole) kept saying, "YOU HAVE TO BE 4 FEET FROM THE BOARDS FOR IT TO BE BOARDING!!! and I just didn't have the patience to explain to him that the NHL rulebook states no such thing.

i think i have a ruler on the inside of my marble mead copybook.

shall we rally up the Sen's forensics team and create a crime scene for review?

The ethnic youth you pictured here frightens me because he fits a media-driven stereotype that threatens my safety.

That's Marlo Stanfield from "The Wire" HBO series.

He was a frightening dude.

if he wants to argue that the puck should have been blown dead because it was likely not visible to any ref, thats one thing.

but if he had it, could he please explain to me how it was so readily available to be tapped in?

Officials have blown play dead for less control, that's for sure. But I don't think he "had" it.

Lauridson and Manning returned to Phantoms
- PhillySportsGuy

I'd like to see some more of Manning after the break.

I did too. He had a strong game. Tbh, I would like to see a little more of him. I thought he earned another start even if Schultz is healthy.

Edit: I would sit Carlo and start Schultz if he's healthy.

exactly. i think its 50 50 as to whether it should have been blown dead. theres really no consistency with that.

but i dont think there is any moment where he HAD it to the point where if you asked him for it, he could have immediately either told you where it was or given it to you.

Manning maybe a viable third pair guy. I know they have plenty of them now, but some of them have inflated salaries for the role.

It might allow them to move another dman at the deadline without worrying about having enough next season.

He's a decent 4th line player, but lots of puck luck for vandevelde this year. Matt Read however can't buy a goal.
- MJL

He simply has not even earned the chance at getting lucky.

i think the frantic groping behind his back was sort of a dead giveaway he didn't have control

we've all seen the goalie freeze like he has it and the ref blows it dead because the goalie kind of 'sells' it....

i mean i guess he made some okay points about bennett finding his legs later in the game, and martin and ehrhoff did well stepping up.

but did i read correctly that he implied that giroux somehow orchestrated the rinaldo hit at a steakhouse the night prior? like some sort of mob boss?

How soon can the Flyers waive ZAC ATTACK!

Can you waive a player being suspended?

Yeah, scoring some goals but he still probably shouldn't be in the NHL. Anybody here really expect him to sustain 17-18% shooting for long?
- Tomahawk

It's just not going to happen. He couldn't find a spot on 27 other NHL teams.

but he compares the flyers to the patriots.....the one thing we don't have here is under-inflated balls
