I didn't see the pass Stepan made that apparently is the greatest pass of all time. Waiting for NHL.com to have it uploaded. |

Unreal - rangerdanger94
Gotta think in part Step was just trying to throw it on net. Tho with his hockey IQ I'm sure he knew Hags was crashing the net including his passing ability I really hope they interview Step after the game. Really was an amazing perfectly placed pass. |

Like what I've seen from Staal and Hunwick tonight jumping into the play.
Also see Kreider totally started celebrating the goal when he first hit the post, he thought it was in. - MeanestOfTimes
Shot hit the post and then hit the back upright bar and came out. Kreider celebrated cause he knew. Trust your eyes...not Joe micheletti's call. He can't even call a replay correctly.

Didn't get a chance to watch the game but why did Hayes only play 7 40? |

the 4th line barely got on the ice in the third
There was a rumor last night that the Rangers have been scouting Mike Santorelli of Leafs and wanted to sign him last summer but were out of space, not sure if you guys mentioned it, didn't read all the comments.
Makes a lot of sense as long as it's not too high of a pick going to Leafs if it happens |

Yes someone brought it up, I don't think with the limited cap space that he's any better than what we have, he's under 50% on faceoffs, I'd rather look elsewhere, I think after Stemp took that penalty he was nailed to the bench and AV went with 3 lines |

Santorelli may be under 50% but he has won over 1000 faceoffs in his career and can chip in goals. McCLement is definitely the better faceoff guy but nowhere near as dangerous offensively.
I'd be fine with either one, again, as long as price isn't too high |

He has only taken 127 faceoffs this season, winning 60 and losing 67.
Last season he was at 51.3% on faceoffs (215 won/204 lost) and in 2010-11, he won 50.2% of faceoffs (518 won and 514 lost)

Agreed about McClement, I'm on the Hanzal train, i really think he'd be a perfect fit, size and 55% in the dots |

I like McClement but he's basically Dominic Moore only worse offensively. I'd rather have Vermette or Santorelli with their offensive upside. Don't see the Rangers taking on a guy like Hanzal who has a 3.2M cap hit next season too. |

Yes but it's not out of the question with Zucc's situation to lock up a lesser cap hit |

Somehow last night we beat Ottawa in faceoffs. There's a team worse than us at faceoffs? |

Pretty sweet take on the shield.
Kreider has to have money on Seattle to win the SB with the way he channeled his inner Marshawn Lynch beast mode last night. |

Matt, you ever get the feeling that there is a direct correlation between the way Kreider plays and when I get sour on him. No need to say thank you. |

I have been trying the same philosophy on Hagelin and Zucc lately myself, worked with Hags last night |

He no doubt said that I better pick it up or I'm going to get traded to Edmonton. No greater motivator. |

Kreider showed last night he has the ability if he wants to take over a game. Not many players on the Rangers can do that. |
