Florida is loaded at center, but with a bunch of young guys (who they wouldn't trade), or good prospects who wouldn't help immediately (or be a better option than Hayes).

Perrault was one of my wishfuls last UFA season. he would have been perfect under AV's system. a good puck handler and face off guy. I have a feeling Sather will pull one of his old jedi mind tricks this trade deadline again and somehow get that perfect player that no one expected.... AND... trade Glass... haha maybe wishful thinking there. but Sather in trades is almost unmatched.

I would like to see the # of NYR players that have averaged a PPG in a season since 1990 period. let alone age. i would venture to say its not a very long list. Steps is really flourishing as the second line C.

I think the idea is to acquire more depth at the deadline, someone who can help with faceoffs and play a bit.

Same here, Santorelli is a lateral move with Fast and Stempniak on the team

I don't think any player we have in the AHL has the experience or potential to be a better player to slot in if there is an injury than Santorelli. Malone maybe because of his experience.

Santorelli is a player you can put in the top 6 if need be. Pretty solid player.

Kreider showed last night he has the ability if he wants to take over a game. Not many players on the Rangers can do that.

Everyone knows he has the ability. The issue is that he doesn't do it on a consistent basis. Hopefully after last game he takes off and doesn't look back
