You do have a limited amount of call ups that aren't emergency based.


My guess is they don't want to waste a call up having to bring him back up.

Makes more sense than some of the others they've made this year to give Grigorenko/Varrone games back in Rochester earlier this season. Especially since I believe one such move had Grigorenko playing in 3 straight nights - not saying that itself is horrible, but the move up and down to "waste" a transaction seems bad in that situation

Just like most media reporting, what gets the most intrigue is what wins the most clicks, weather there is something to it or not. It doesn't help that they were majorly sanctioned by the league for cheating. If this was any other team, this wouldn't be a story. If this was any other team the Colts linebacker probably wouldn't have been suspicious of the ball in the first place.
