seriously? I didn't particularly enjoy the movie, just felt like it was part of something else and left some story lines hanging (what happened to the brother?)
I can't be critical of the movie because why? |

Down here in the States it becomes a political thing. I really don't want to get into it because this isn't the place for it. Suffice to say there will be people criticizing this movie (many without even seeing it) just because they think it's pro-military. It doesn't matter if it is or not.
I haven't seen it but I'm sure I'll watch it when it's on Netflix. |

That's probably the wise choice.
Shouldn't you capitalize Canadian, or are you guys really that laid back? |

42 allstars. What's the over/under where JT gets picked. I'm going with my lucky #17th overall.
Halak will be the 4th goalie chosen.
I obviously don't give a rats ass about this meaningless weekend, but I'll just try to have fun with it. |

I started watching hockey with my dad, he'd complain about the Canucks all game every game and when I was six this juggernaut of a team wearing blue and orange started beating everyone. I decided I liked them, been a loyal fan ever since. There were a couple cool moments along the way that reinforced my love for the team. Never been to long Island but may try to get there before the end of the year to see a game live at home. |

I liked when they (Toews?) picked Tavares and he was referred to as a "2-way forward." |

It was Ryan Getzlaf. He called him "Jonathan" Tavares and called him an excellent 2 way player. I guess playing on the west coast your entire career leaves him not giving a crap about younger guys on the east coast? |

It's a long long long trip for you, but you sincerely need to catch a game at the coliseum before they leave. The place is dumpy, but the environment and fan base makes up for that. Book it way in advance and get a solid priced room at the Marriott across the street (it's a 15 second walk, same parking lot). You can get bombed in the hotel, and the place is gorgeous, one of the best hotels around.
If you can't make a game, then I'd suggest coming in the summer. You'll love the beaches and stuff around here. The summers on LI are like vacations for most people from not around here. |
