the Rinaldo hit sucked, and has no place in hockey. I hope he gets 10 games and afterwards the Flyers trade him at some point.

Beyond that, that was a pretty exciting game to watch. Lots of hits, fights and a few goals. What wasn't to like? If the Pens had won and had a laid a beating on the Flyers I'm sure you'd be okay with it, no?

There is a point in every season I feel like this and it's usually followed by a 9 game win streak. However I think the Pens aren't built to win in the playoffs where penalties are allowed.

When the Pens were hot, their PP was at like 48%, and provided the majority of their goals. Now they can't even score on the PP. They lose 58, Martin isn't nearly as good on the PP as Letang, its going to get ugly.

And I agree they haven't been a Playoff team in quite sometime. Im curious what will happen if they flame out early again.

The Pens PP sucked big time. How you can't score at least ONE on that major is beyond me against a bad PK?

I look forward to seeing Sill tomorrow night since obviously Johnston is against benching him. I mean it's brilliant to have him out there late in the game. Awful coaching. Just awful.

Johnston is making decisions that are just as bad as bylsma. Can't give him a pass. U ice the best team and neither coach has done that. The stretch pass sucked. But this insistence on carrying the puck that leads to neutral zone and blue line turnovers is just as troublesome. I see no adjustments against the metro teams who shut us down. More of the same. Fire him over all star break.

What's GMJR thinking? Is he questioning MJ's decisions? Does he think the roster needs more work? Or simply reliving his Carolina days and thinking wow were still really good in the standings..

All I want is 1 power play goal.

I would like to see the Pens play a defense first system and use their superior offensive talent to capitalize on their opportunities....

and Sutter is a terrible hockey player, very evident when he is centering the 2nd PP unit...

I've said it for weeks now, no one on the powerplay can get shots on the net through traffic. Ingredient # 1 for a successful powerplay.

Even the "2015 new look Pens" have sent out a message to the league on how to beat them.

Fortunately, that was as close to playoff hockey as the flyers will get this year.
