Actually, I've tried to switch the focus to Duchene.

I think it really depends on where we pick in the draft on the need to go after another top-liner.

I think we have our "ROR" in Girgensons anyway.

They can put big Z in the AHL, if need be.

And, imo, if Pysyk is here this year, we're not sitting in 30th right now.

I think his calm demeanor in the D zone makes up for a few goals here and there when those idiots get pinned in. That's gotta be good for a win or two.

One thing I do not like about Murray is that he doesn't travel out west at all to check the players out there. He should be travelling the hockey globe. Not just the scouts IMO.

You honestly think the Sabres would be a better team with a guy with 67 games under his belt?

Our offense is what is really holding us back. So I doubt Pysyk would help too much in that area.

And how do you know that? Do you have access to his travel itinerary? You do you know we have the most scouts of any NHL team. I am sure they have it covered.

Actually, yes, I do.

Our D has been running around in it's own zone all year. God forbid they learn how to chip a puck out using the boards and glass, or make a solid pass to one of the forwards (who also don't get a free pass in all this. Our D zone coverage is just as much their fault, too).

Pysyk had his struggles in the A early on, but he is a no-panic, great passing defenseman who always seems to make the smart, safe play.

So, yes, I think we'd be better. And I said one or two wins better, not 10. So, therfore, by my logic, we're not sitting in last with Mark Pysyk in on D.

If nothing else, he's better than those pos's Benoit and Meszaros.
