Any data or examples that shows that they have a chronic problem?

When Laughton went down, I wanted to see Lecavalier moved up. Berube likes that 4th line though. They scored another goal last night.
- MJL

I just think Vinny has a better chance of being moved than Hamburglar. Therefore I would give VL the chance to play better minutes with better players.

The Flyers don't have a young kid that is better. Lecavalier has been producing playing on the 4th line.
- MJL

Meh, I would actually be tempted to watch a bit more if you had a line of the following. Some good minutes to youth, and #40 off the team.

Read-Couturier-Akeson
Raffl-Laughton-Simmonds
VDV-Bellemare-Umberger

Is it continually opening up?

His leg looked bloody last night. Perhaps it is.

And if so, is it best to keep throwing him out there, or is it best to sit him down and let the stitches firmly bind the wound eliminating any chance of possible infection?

Both players are debatable, and two players doesn't show that there is a chronic problem.

As much as I joke at them, I don't think its the medical staff at a 100%. You have to believe there is pressure coming from up top to get the players back on the ice. As well as from the players themselves.

That's where, "win now at all cost", needs to change to a different mentality.

It was also discussed that it could possibly be iodine or another substance leaking through.
What's best is what is best for the player. I'm not going to assume something is happening, therefore he shouldn't be playing. I have full confidence that the Flyers would not put Giroux at risk of more serious medical issues, if playing put him at risk.

Iodine leaking through? Why the hell are they bathing his leg in iodine before the game. Iodine is used to clean wounds, or surfaces generally before a procedure.

Im not saying its blood, I cant tell really for sure but I'd laugh if its iodine.

No need to buyout Umberger. Just 1 more season and is he really player worse than Read?

Ummmmm....iodine leaking through the thick bandages, and through the sock as per doctor Keith Jones.

Right.

I don't know that it's Iodine, all there is, is speculation. Iodine could also be used to promote healing, and to prevent infection.

If he has an open wound, he's just as much at risk if he's not playing. The outside World that he will obviously be exposed to is just as unsanitary.

this is an organization that has several former players who suffered severe head trauma at one time or another in their careers, running the show.

Sweet jesus there is no iodine. It would be dry, and there is no need to keep that poop on people generally wash it off asap. Its a female dog to get off the longer it stays on.

Unless the Flyers have some kind of witch doctor that's bathing the men in iodine before the game.

Please go into a medical store and tell them you want some iodine to rub on your skin to help healing and prevent infection.

so basically, if they are using iodine in this manner, they are inept?
