I guess all I would say is those names have floated around since the summer when the Wings didn't get a RH d-man including Dreger from TSN. Buffalo wanted Mantha in the deal so obviously it never happened.

Let me put it this way...if it wasn't for those 2 guys last year with Zetterberg and Datsuyk out for significant amounts of time, that mediocre team doesn't make the playoffs for the 20+ Season simply put.

If it wasn't for those 2 guys the Wings wouldn't be where they are this year either. We are talking about the top 2 scorers for the Wings this season. Nyquist and Tatar are not good because they play on a good team, them being good is part of the reason Detroit IS a good team.
