I know it's all hands on deck but I would have liked to have seen Downie scratched as a statement from the nonsense against the isles. - Reverend Killtaker
Pull Fleury now please while we still have a chance, he doesn't have it today, dropping to his knees too fast, bad sign against skilled teams who can lift the puck. |

This game has been very lopsided so far. Pens need to get their heads out of their asses and raise their compete level if they want to stay in this game. |

I think Flower should rest until after the All Star game. That second one wasn't on him, but the first one should have been stopped. He needs a rest, and you don't want these bad games to start getting into his head. Plus the team needs a kick in the ass right now. - thickman1178
Too be fair though. That wasn't Tanner Glass shooting. Rick Nash is only what 2nd in the league in goals? Ask any goalie what they want their first shot against to be. A breakaway with the other teams best player carrying the puck is not going to be a popular vote.
Terrible passing. More of the same bullpoop cute plays between the tops of the circles and the Rangers blueline and an inept PP. This game is going to look a lot like the 5-0 poopkicking the Rangers handed out a month ago. |

Simple passing, solid positioning, excellent execution. Nice sniper shot by Crosby. |

Here it comes. A dumb penalty leading to a 3-1 lead. Nice way to kill momentum. |

A lot of ticky tacky calls being made on both sides. Both teams might end up with 10 power plays if this keeps up.
Although the most obvious penalty I have seen they didn't call. Should have either been interference or too many men earlier, when Crosby was trying to go up the boards and one of the Rangers pinned him against the boards after the puck had passed both of them, meanwhile a guy came off the bench for the guy who was pinning Crosby to the boards.
Just boggles my mind seeing the 5 calls they have made and that one wasn't called. |

It's safe to say I have no idea what is and isn't a penalty anymore. Of the 5 called maybe 1 was legit. Garage league.
Or all 5 are legit and they just haven't called it right for the first 43 games. |

New coaching staff, but still no answers for a clogged neutral zone. Assuming the Penguins clinch a playoff berth a lil early, the Penguins should do nothing but dump and chase for whatever games remain. They have no ability to play that kind of game. |

I really don't like their play 5v5 for weeks now. Some of those old defensive demons are coming back. |

Oh Scuderi...From right in Fleury's logo to top.
At the other end that would have been a beauty tip. |

this is the time where the penguins could use a Billy G type trade. Hungry veteran looking for a chance at a cup.
when iginla and morrow came in, they assumed that the Cup was theres and they were just there for the ride. Need a guy like billy g who was a driver, not a passenger.
problem is that i'm not sure who that guy is and at what price. |

Johnston continuing to play MAF makes me wonder. This is why you signed Griess to begin with and over compensated for a back up. You didn't want MAF playing all the games and yet Johnston has done just that.
Very confusing. |

Johnston's judgment is questionable to me. His choice of Sill is dumb as is Skuds and Adams. I'm done cutting him slack. But the team also looks like a dumb parade down main street. |
