He actually already bought a house in East Hills and his brother tweeted last week he'll be an Islander for long, long time. Not done yet but it sounds positive. As far as Vanek goes we dodged a bullet there. Things seem to be working out real good for him now.

Of course they did. Where do you come up with this crap? If anything 3/4 of the fan base knew he was headed off to minny. Yeah we thought it was a balsy trade and hoped he would stay but I don't think anybody was comfortable in saying he was staying

hes got about as little heart as can be...pure goal scorer, nothing more, and thats only when hes fealing it, which seems to be about 20% of the time max. I don't see any team he is on ever winning a stanley cup, unless hes making about half what he makes now that is...

It's somewhere in between. He's not as offensive as Martin, but he is more mobile and is MUCH better with the puck than Orpik was.

never a difference maker, if he ever were to play in a big game im not sure hed deliver, hes just an easy guy to play against, all the skill and talent offensively but like I said little to no heart and currently very expensive
