You know, you're right. That's about how i'd classify them. They also have some Springer type commentary in the mix for good measure.. - Hextall271
Yep, they're terrible homers.
The sad part is, Edwards can do a good, non-biased job when it's a national game without the Bruins. I've seen him do it. |

Well there has to be a better option than Hamburglar. Laughton has shown some offensive skill and like we both said ...he works hard. The coach should reward hard work. IMO Laughton has shown a hell of a lot more than RJ.
I can't remember the last time the 2nd PP scored a goal or if they have ever scored in back to back games. - 3flyerkids
That's where I'm at. I don't know if Laughton is ready or not, but just by watching Umberger play there for 44 games, it's painfully obvious that he's not the answer. Spot duty, fine, but to b a mainstay...nope. |

I'd like to know if he does the total Homer bit on his own or if he's told to be that way to appeal to the Boston fans? |

Last night was an ugly cocktail and bad play, bad goaltending, and bad luck all combined to make a nasty drink that you spit out on the first sip. They played well until the gave up the first goal, and then they were done. That's very disappointing. - MJL
Rinaldo was a bright spot. He kicked ass! |

No Idea. But he definitely was a solid PxP guy for both ESPN & Versus. |

Buffalo on Saturday. They've lost 9 in a row, have a -75 goal differential, and are less than .500 at home.
Who else sees a 7-1 Sabres win? |

The over-arching problem is the Flyers really have no one to put around him with Read having the worst season of his career by far and a host of other players in funks for the better part of the last month. However, Couturier also gets into the perimeter mindset in the offensive zone and that's when those long dry spells of his tend to happen. - bmeltzer
Call up White to center the 4th line and put Bellemare with Couturier and Read. |

undisciplined minor penalty leading to a goal against = check
on the ice for a goal against = check
going off the reservation and getting a game misconduct = check
It's a Zac Rinaldo hat trick.
What an absolute complete and utter waste of oxygen. The fact this clown was giving a 3 year contract extension is mind boggling. |

Its pretty obvious that missing Coburn and Grossmann affects how this team scores goals.
Without them the offense is nothing. |

7 consecutive periods without a goal now. If Giroux and Voracek aren't superhuman, this is one of the worst teams in the NHL. Secondary scoring is a huge issue, we know the defense core is a mess, and without Mason the goaltending is going to be sub par at best. It's a complete poopshow at the moment.
And lets just say, below average coaching. |

Schultz, MDZ, and Carlo are fine. It's the other 5 guys that are the problem.
Really other 4 guys. Not fair to Streit. He's been very good offensively. Defensively not great, but overall can't be upset with his play. |

Yea... I dont even care at this point. I just hope Voracek gets the Art Ross and Giroux gets his 90+ pts
Schenn and Couts to progress also. I need to see that... |
